Tarun Sharma (15), is the founder of REFLECTION Magazine. He started it at just 13, with no industry connections, only a passion for (pop) music and a belief that EVERY ARTIST, NO MATTER THE FAME, DESERVES A SPOT IN THE INDUSTRY.

That belief took shape in 2021, when RAYE left her record label over creative restrictions. It raised a question Tarun has never let go of which is: how often are artists silenced before we even hear of them? He began interviewing artists he genuinely loved and believed in, and what started as a bold idea soon became something real.

Switzerland-based REFLECTION Magazine exists to challenge the music industry and change how musicians are perceived. It puts authenticity, creative freedom and emerging voices first, handing control back to artists with a platform where they speak for themselves and unfiltered expression comes first.

REFLECTION officially launched in September 2024 with German cover star LAVINIA (“Borderline”), now a well-known name in electronic music. Since then, it has featured Swiss artists including Kings Elliot, Eileen Alister and Joya Marleen, alongside international names such as Ella Red, Leah Kate (“10 Things I Hate About You”) and KiNG MALA. It has covered events including Visa Moving Music and M4Music Festival, and shot its photography at locations such as The Home Hotel at Sihlcity and 25hours Hotel Langstrasse in Zürich.

On 27 June 2026, REFLECTION hosted its first showcase in Zürich, bringing the print magazine to life with eight artists to celebrate its eighth issue. That summer, it also covered Paléo Festival, with a line-up including Katy Perry, Lorde and Eivør, whom Tarun interviewed.

On 7 September 2026, REFLECTION released its ninth issue, featuring Milune, Cachita, Eivør and more. The issue also marked the departure of co-founder Anna. VOL.9 was celebrated with a release party at Stubä Bar in Zürich on 16 September, which picked up real traction on TikTok.

Now led solely by Tarun, REFLECTION is preparing its milestone tenth issue and plans to expand into retail across Switzerland from January 2027.
