REFLECTION Magazine was born from a vision to reshape the music industry and the way musicians are perceived, shifting the focus toward authenticity, creative freedom, and emerging artists. The idea first sparked in 2021 after hearing about RAYE’s departure from Polydor Records due to creative restrictions, raising the question: how often are artists silenced before we even hear them? Built on the belief that every artist deserves a place in the industry and a platform to speak freely, what began as a bold idea soon became reality when Tarun and Anna (who met through an online music community), transformed their shared passion for music into REFLECTION Magazine.

Together, they began interviewing artists they genuinely loved and believed in and by September 2024 (when Tarun was just 13), REFLECTION Magazine officially launched with cover star LAVINIA (“Borderline”), who has since become a recognised name in the EDM scene, globally.

Across multiple issues, the Switzerland based magazine has featured local artists such as Kings Elliot (“Sweet Nothing”), Eileen Alister (“Corpse Bride”), and Joya Marleen (“Nightmare”), alongside international acts including Ella Red (“I Like You Best”), Leah Kate (“10 Things I Hate About You”), and SKYDXDDY (“DON’T TALK ABOUT IT”).

Beyond interviews, REFLECTION has covered major cultural moments including the UEFA Women’s World Cup Final and M4Music Festival, while also collaborating with emerging creatives ranging from makeup brands to stylists, expanding across multiple creative fields.

In the future, REFLECTION will continue to grow through showcase events, expanded features, and by strengthening its community of REFLECTors.
