Madison Beer, the two-time GRAMMY nominee and platinum-certified multi-talent, announces her next studio album locket, set for release on January 16, 2026. The album was written and co-produced by Beer herself, with longtime collaborators One Love, LOSTBOY, and Leroy Clampitt contributing to the production.

Locket also includes the standout tracks Beer released throughout 2025, including “bittersweet”, her fastest song to reach the Top 40 on radio charts, as well as “yes baby.”

With locket, Beer had the album title in mind from the very beginning of the writing process. Much like its namesake, locket is a mosaic of past memories and experiences, with Beer firmly at the helm, creatively merging pop soundscapes. The album highlights her growth as a songwriter, singer, and producer and features some of the most vocally dynamic songs of her career.

Madison Beer says:

“After writing the album, it feels like every song is kept safe in this metaphorical medallion. Every album feels like an era, and once the album is released, the chapter I wrote about is closed for me.”

The announcement follows the release of the striking “bittersweet” music video, written by Beer and co-directed by Beer and Iris Kim. The video offers a fresh perspective on heartbreak, opening with the separation between Beer and her on-screen partner, played by actor Sean Kaufman (The Summer I Turned Pretty). As the sadness unfolds, fireworks erupt above her and a large parade breaks out, celebrating Beer’s newfound freedom.

Bittersweet” was also part of Beer’s breathtaking performance at the legendary annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City. The YouTube livestream peaked at 2.5 million viewers during her performance, and shortly after, Madison Beer rose to number one on Twitter’s worldwide trending people list. Fans who missed the live broadcast can watch the full show and performance online.
